The project aims to develop a building that fulfills the project requirements exceeding expectations in terms of residential space while respecting the significance and ideology of the future Masdar City.
During the design process, the attention was set to the architectural technological elements assimilation, seeing the building not as a multi-functional and versatile box with energy wastefulness technologies inserted in retrospect to resolve internal comfort issues but making use of a design approach that prioritizes formal and technological solutions integration according to Masdar Master Plan recommendations.
The building is a system with an internal area comfort guaranteed by construction environment interaction and depending on the control of the building’s elements such as sunscreens, windows that can be opened and reflective sheets.
